General Chit-Chat / History of CWoT
« on: September 11, 2020, 04:52:42 PM »
I just open my old computer, forgotten in the armchair, whose keyboard doesn't work very well because I accidentally spilled water on it ... it's a Pentium IV with Windows XP from 2002, and I found many files from those times... and here is a music that will probably remind you those good times of old CWoT.
You can post other things that you have or can remember to make the History of cleverwasteoftime for the Wikipedia page that CWoT deserves. :clap2:

General Chit-Chat / Where we are
« on: August 08, 2020, 04:19:15 AM »
Waiting for new levels and just for curiosity I have counted the locations of the actual ACWoT members. Here we are (with  errors I know!):
    US 18
    UK 8
    Australia 5
    Canada 5
    Spain 3
    New Zealand 2
    Romania 2
China, Vietnam, India, Turkey, Macedonia, Germany and Finland: 1 member each
There are at least 14 members with not declared location and some member numbers (14, 16, 18, 33) with no members registered.
The only continent with no  members is Africa

Forum Based Games / Questions and Answers

Here I hope that you clearly expose your doubts about life itself and/or the answers that you consider best, and don't forget to explain your reasons.

I will start with a question that I often ask myself ...

When it rains while you are walking and you do not carry an umbrella, what is better to avoid getting as wet as possible? ... speed up or continue at the same pace?

Hey all and Welcome all!  :hello:
Please post here whatever you want about you, so we can start to know each other. :clap2:

I'll start introducing myself saying that I'm trinih, from Spain so pardon me for my bad english.
I'm an old player of the first cleverwasteoftime (CWoT) and  I have had the honor of being an alpha tester of this anothercwot.
I'm very happy to play again this new BB (aka BLiZZ) riddles. If you need me let me know!

General Chit-Chat / What we learn here.
« on: March 19, 2020, 10:42:10 PM »
Today I've learned a lot about Mad Max movies, about feral children, about Thunderdome festivals and hardcore bands :cussing: ,  and and a combination of all that in my poor brain.  :dizzy:
I've learned that whatever you search in google w¡th the word "band" at the end it shows you a group of music from the Hell itself >:D
and I learned that Semmelweis discovered that the incidence of puerperal fever could be drastically cut by the use of hand disinfection in obstetrical clinics (today Google Doodle). I alraedy knew how to wash my hands :D

General Chit-Chat / Doubts about anotherCWoT
« on: March 16, 2020, 06:39:21 PM »
Well I suppose that anothercwot will show almost the same levels as first CWoT ¿right?
Do we need to pass all the levels one by one to see them actives or will we can go to any level?

Maybe this will be FAQ... :aha:

General Chit-Chat / Coronavirus Pandemia
« on: March 13, 2020, 06:58:13 PM »
Maybe it's not a funny issue to talk here but in Europe the disease of Covid-19 is  spreading very fast and in my country we are very concerned about trying to stop it so as not to exceed the limit of hospital care. The fundamental problem, as I see, it's that seriously ill patients require oxygen and assisted breathing, and if we all get sick at the same time, there will be no devices or doctors for everyone, so is important to control its grow.

I know that in your countries the disease still is not very important but I want to tell you what to do to avoid or control it:
- Don't have close contact with people => keep  around 1 meter of separation
- Wash your hands frequently
- Sneeze of cough into your elbow
- Stay at home as much as you can. CWoT will help ;)
- Call to the doctor if you have fever, cough and difficulty breathing

Most of cases are not serious but people with other diseases or old people (in Spain we lived around 90 years!) can die.
